Noah's first hot cocoa

Noah had his first yummy hot cocoa the other day. He loved it and told me that after every sip you have to say "aaaaaaah".

My other creation

Earlier in the year I posted an outfit I had made for Lily. Well, this is the other one. I thought it turned out to be a pretty cute outfit! Next, I will learn to smock!!

"Godfather" Matt and Ava at her baptism

What is going on here?

Lily decided she was going to put her matress on the floor and watch a movie. She came to me once to ask for some help, but minutes later when I went in her room, this is what I found. Being a kid must be exhausting!

Is it a bird feeder or a Noah feeder?

I brought back some leftover popcorn from the movies and the kids decided to put it in the feeder for the birds. Well, fifteen minutes later, Noah is still standing there eating the popcorn out of the feeder and yes, off the ground. He thought it was great!

Noah's Christmas Program

Noah had his school Christmas program last week. I know the photos are dark, but he is in the front row on the right side. He kind of stood there on a couple of the songs but he sang his favorite part of Jingle Bells "HEY".

Sooooo Big!

The kids are growing up so fast! They tried to get in this cabinet to hide the other day and Lily realized that they couldn't fit as easily as they use to. Here is a photo from a while back when they could comfortably fit and now.................

Keep Out!

Well, I guess it starts early these days. Lily put this sign on her door to let me know that only she and Noah are allowed in her room. The sign says "No people allowed, Lily Farris, Noah Farris".

Who needs toys, when you have a plastic bin and a very strong Daddy.

I cleaned out the attic bins that were full of our clothes that we hadn't worn in years. Of course, the kids couldn't resist playing in, stacking, filling and dumping them. That is, until Daddy got home and made a whole new game of it!

Thanksgiving Feast

Lily's class celebrated Thanksgiving by having a feast. They made corn cakes and ate pumpkin pie. They also made these cute shirts, headbands and beaded necklaces.

Rockin Out

We took the Guitar Hero game to the lake this weekend. The kids had a great time "rockin out" and even Mawmaw and Pawpaw got in on the action.

Yet another birthday party......

Lily was invited to a birthday party for one of her classmates, Miriam. It was at Botanic Gardens and it was a butterfly theme. They painted their own butterfly wings, made butterfly mugs and had a butterfly hunt in the gardens. While all that was going on, I entertained Noah with the beautiful water fountains.

Trick or Treat

The kids had a great time trick or treating. They fought over who got to ring the doorbell and Noah refused to take his pumpkin to the door, or wear his construction hat. He didn't want to ride in the stroller, but instead of walking, he spent most of his time rolling around in people's yards. Lily, was Gabriella from High School Musical (just incase you didn't recognize the red dress).

Lily's Class Party

I went to Lily's class party on Halloween to take some pics of the kids in action. They decorated pumpkins, made spider cookies and cut out black cats. The girls are all so sweet!

Avery Leigh

Lily and I went to visit Kerry & Avery today. She is so darn cute with her round head and big blue eyes. She has grown so much. Soon, Kerry will be planning for her first birthday party!!

Shelby Farms

We took the kids to Shelby Farms to see the horses this past weekend. We drive by often, but don't have time to stop to pet them. Lily was so excited to ride one of the ponies. Noah was happy to keep his distance and watch Lily ride.
