Kids say the craziest things!

Some days while Noah is taking a nap, Lily and I take a bath. That is when I can find out all the scoop at school and we talk about all kinds of crazy things. On this day she just kept repeating the word psychiatrist. I asked her what a psychiatrist was and she said "a person who blows up thing and wears goggles". I think she meant a scientist.

We were eating dinner last night and Matt asked if we had any more ranch. Noah said "no daddy we don't have any more ranch but we have a screwdriver. I think he thought Matt was asking for a wrench!

Tiny bubbles.....and some not so tiny

Noah got a bubble blaster and Lily got a bubble wand from the Easter Bunny. As you can see there were bubbles everywhere.

The Easter Bunny came to the lake!

The Easter bunny brought lots of goodies for the kids. Sadie was very curious about the candy. She tried a couple of times to sneak a few pieces.

Noah...the next Bill Dance?

Okay, so I have never seen Noah do anything for any length of time until.....he got out the fishing pole. He loves to stand out in the yard and cast and cast and cast. He's actually really good at it too. I can't believe how far he can throw it.

Sadie (Mawmaw & Pawpaw's new dog)

The kids just love Sadie. She is very relaxed and is always looking for some loving. She love to lay on the porch in the sun.

Egg Time!

Making Easter cookies

I made 73 sugar cookies last week. So, when Daddy got home we decorated and ate cookies!

Natalie's birthday on the farm

Lily's friend from school had her birthday party at Kidz Country in Southaven. It was a little soggy because it had rained the entire day before, but everyone had a good time. They got to feed goats, a pig, rabbits and ride a carriage, train and a horse. I was really proud of naoh for trying everything. He was okay as long as Lily was by his side.

Another Milestone

Noah has been without his bobbie (pacifier) for two weeks! I really thought getting the bobbie away from him was going to be a big challenge. We went out one night and I guess when our sitter put him to bed she couldn't find a bobbie to give him. So when he woke in the morning and we realized he hadn't had it all night, we knew that this was our chance to say goodbye to the bobbie. The first week he would ask for it when he was tired or hurt, but now he doesn't ask for it at all. Except today he was looking at a picture from a few weeks ago and he saw himself with it in his mouth. He asked me as he was holding the photo"Mom can you get that out of there?

"the big large tree"......need I say more?

Fun with Mawmaw & Pawpaw

The kids had a great time in the snow. Mawmaw & Pawpaw got a new dog named Sadie. So the kids got to boss her around the whole time.

More snow

Here are some shots of the snow at our house. The kids were at Mawmaw and Pawpaw's so we didn't go out and play in it, but it was peaceful to watch (probably because the kids were gone).

Can't take my eyes off of him

This is what happens when you leave Noah alone for a few minutes. Need I say more?!

70's day at school

St. Mary's is having an auction and the theme is "Disco". They had 70's day to get everyone pumped up for the auction/party. I tried to get Lily to wear the wig to school, but she would only go for the headband.

It's snowing! (yuck)

So after visiting Park City, I really could care less if I ever see snow again, but it did snow a little the other day. It's always too warm for it to stick, so no snowmen for the kids this time.

Go Diego Go!

We took the kids to see Go Diego Go! at the Orpheum. We sat on the very front row. Way too close for me, but the kids loved it. I didn't get many pictures because we weren't allowed to take pics during the show.
