Swimming Lessons

Lily started her swimming lessons today. She did very well. Her instructor is amazing, so good with children. I am looking forward to see how she progresses over the next few weeks. Our main goal is to have her drown proof by summer.

A visit with Avery

Well, all I have to say is that it's pretty bad when you have to wait until your kids go out of town to spend time with your friend's kid. I finally managed to squeeze in some quality "Avery time" last Saturday. She is so cute, just look at this picture. I got plenty of good kisses to last me until the kids go out of town again for spring break!

Lily's Valentine's Day Party

Lily and I both enjoyed her party today. They decorated cookies and made dogs out of construction paper with lollipop tongues. She gave her teachers roses that she picked out herself at Holliday Flowers last night. Ms. Coates got magenta roses and Ms. May got a beautiful shade of orange, complete with Valentine's ribbon, also picked out by Lily. Here she is pictured with Ms. Wilson from the "light bulb lab". We found a glass light bulb container that held pink M&Ms. Ms. Wilson was so excited. She took it around the whole school to show it off.

St. Mary's

When I was walking through Lily's school today, I realized how beautiful the building really is. The girls are so blessed with an amazing, fun environment to learn in.

Here, Lily is working on the notebook in computer class. The image is projected up on the wall so all the class can see.

Ski Park City

We had our first ski lesson at The Canyons on Sunday. The blizzard came in on Monday so the girls went to the Day Spa and the guys hung out at the house. We skied again on Tuesday, but this time at Park City. The more advanced skiers talked us in to skiing a blue instead of the greens. Come to find out, it was more like a black diamond that was ungroomed!

The snow was beautiful! One day it snowed 2 feet! I have so many good images, it's hard to choose just a few to blog.

The House

Here are some shots of the house we stayed in. It has 7 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. There was 16 of us and there was still plenty of room for more.
