Big girl shoes

By looking at this pic I would never guess that this is my 6 year old daughter's foot in a silver heel. Well, I did buy them, but only for a very special occasion. Lily, is going to be the flower girl in Uncle Dean's wedding in May. These shoes are very similar to what the bridesmaids will be wearing and of course Lily loves them. Funny..just sitting here looking at this pic, It looks like my foot in that shoe.

Noah's got skills!

What is this you ask? Well, it's a pic of Noah's training wheels of course. He was very excited that Lily learned how to ride with out her training wheels, so yesterday morning he unlocked the tool box, selected the appropriate size tool and proceeded to take off his training wheels. Yes, all by himself! I think we should send him to trade school now and he can work his way through preschool.

Look Mom, No hands!

Well, not exactly....but no training wheels. Lily has learned to ride her bike without training wheels! So any free time she has at home, she is out riding her bike.

Lily's Bowling Party

Lily, and her classmate Natalie, had a bowling party to celebrate turning 6. There were a ton of kids and they all had a great time bowling. Lily's senior, Natalie came to celebrate with her. She was so excited to have her there.

Randy Jackson Clothes

Noah and I had gone to Macy's and we are walking through the men's department where he sees this.....

Then he says "Randy Jackson clothes". What??? Randy Jackson clothes? I said "how do you know who Randy Jackson is" (we usually don't watch American Idol) and he said "you know on icarly". Oh, now I get it! There is an episode of icarly where a teacher is obsessed with Randy Jackson. We watch a lot of icarly at our house.

Ivey's Shower... Tiffany and Co. style

Today was Ivey's shower and it was all about the "bling". Tiffany and Co. blue and diamond bling was the theme. I made 100 (yes, you read that right) 100 blue cake pop favors with sparkle sugar crystals on top, tied with black ribbons. Cousin Jenny, totally outdid herself by making several different kinds of sandwiches, displayed in their own bread boxes. As well as a vertical veggie display with ranch dip. She could give Martha Stewart a run for her money. The cake was of course a Tiffany and Co. box made by Julie Jofree (also making the wedding cake) yellow butter cake with strawberry filling. Divine! Ivey got a ton of gifts, that I'm sure have taken over her living room by now. I told her to send me a pic of her loot! Oh and I almost forgot...the punch was Tiffany blue too and so very yummy.

Big Snow

I can't believe we actually got a lot of snow. The kids had a great time playing in it. Noah didn't want his picture taken this day, so I didn't get too many shots of him. He wouldn't stay out for long periods of time...he said his feet and hands were cold. Lily, on the other hand, would stay out forever, red cheeks and all.
