Noah's 4th Birthday

Noah's birthday party was held at a Bartlett park. It was the morning after the storm and it was a little muddy. The kids played on the playground, wrote with sidewalk chalk and busted up a dinosaur pinata. They ate dirt and worms and enjoyed bubbles and a bug catching set for their goodie bag.

New Bikes

Well, it took me forever to take pics of the kids new bikes. Lily got a new Tony Hawk "Nancy" bike (named after his mother, I guess). Noah picked out a "Razor" bike that he loves. They ride all the time, up and down the sidewalk, way too fast for me to watch!

funny things...

Noah saw a lady on tv in a hospital bed having labor pains and asked "what's she doing mama?". I said "she's having a baby" and he asked "where does the baby come out?". "Does her belly hatch open?". Like a chick, I guess!

Noah was doing a hand stand off the sofa today and while he was upside down he said "Hey mom, look at me, I'm ballerinaing."

More bike riding!

The kids LOVE to ride their bikes. Lily has been riding without training wheels for a while now. They both have grown so much in the past few months that their bikes are too small! Stay tuned for new bike pics.

Other pics from Nashville

This is Bentley, Jon & Beth's new puppy. The yellow lab is Butter. He belongs to Marabeth and Michael. We went to an Easter egg hunt, followed by a trip to the park. The kids had a blast. Afterwards, we went to Opry Mills and ate dinner at The Rainforest Cafe. A very busy, funfilled day!

I'm way behind! Here are a few pics from Easter.

Coloring eggs in Nashville. In the pic, Caly, Emma, Lily and Aidan. Noah was there but had already finished his eggs and took off outside to play.

Birthdays

When I picked Lily up today, she told me that it was her teacher's birthday. She said she turned 62. I said "Wow, she doesn't look 62" and Lily replied "Yeah, she has a long way to go before she dies".
Very blog worthy, I thought!

Big girl shoes

By looking at this pic I would never guess that this is my 6 year old daughter's foot in a silver heel. Well, I did buy them, but only for a very special occasion. Lily, is going to be the flower girl in Uncle Dean's wedding in May. These shoes are very similar to what the bridesmaids will be wearing and of course Lily loves them. Funny..just sitting here looking at this pic, It looks like my foot in that shoe.

Noah's got skills!

What is this you ask? Well, it's a pic of Noah's training wheels of course. He was very excited that Lily learned how to ride with out her training wheels, so yesterday morning he unlocked the tool box, selected the appropriate size tool and proceeded to take off his training wheels. Yes, all by himself! I think we should send him to trade school now and he can work his way through preschool.

Look Mom, No hands!

Well, not exactly....but no training wheels. Lily has learned to ride her bike without training wheels! So any free time she has at home, she is out riding her bike.

Lily's Bowling Party

Lily, and her classmate Natalie, had a bowling party to celebrate turning 6. There were a ton of kids and they all had a great time bowling. Lily's senior, Natalie came to celebrate with her. She was so excited to have her there.

Randy Jackson Clothes

Noah and I had gone to Macy's and we are walking through the men's department where he sees this.....

Then he says "Randy Jackson clothes". What??? Randy Jackson clothes? I said "how do you know who Randy Jackson is" (we usually don't watch American Idol) and he said "you know on icarly". Oh, now I get it! There is an episode of icarly where a teacher is obsessed with Randy Jackson. We watch a lot of icarly at our house.
